The 2009 Arizona Winter School will be on

  Quadratic Forms

and will take place March 14-18, 2009 at the University of Arizona in
Tucson.  The lecturers and their topics are

 * Manjul Bhargava: The parametrization of rings of small rank
 * John Conway: The genus of a quadratic form
 * Noam Elkies: Theta functions of lattices
 * Jonathan Hanke: Quadratic forms and automorphic forms
 * Raman Parimala: Some aspects of the algebraic theory
      of quadratic forms

Applications for students seeking funding and for students who would
like to work in a small group project with one of the lecturers are
due by January 9, 2009.  For further details, see the workshop website

The funding application (for students) and registration form (for
non-students) are now available on the website.
